Lena Grisky
Lena is one of the most talented ballerinas of her time and is just like most other 15-year-olds… except she is a Russian princess from 1905! With her bubbly personality, she must learn how to be a modern teen, from fashion, slang, and dance. She struggles with balancing her relationship with Henri, her boyfriend from the past, and her new crush on her classmate Max...
Ines Lebreton
Ines is Lena's roommate and closest friend at school. She is the polar opposite of Lena. Having moved around a lot as a kid, Ines tends to hide behind her rebellious wardobe and awesome dance moves to avoid getting close to anyone. However, she reveals her big heart after Lena arrives and helps her survive in her new world.
Thea Raphael
Thea is one of the top dance students at Lena's school. When she was twelve years old, she won the American "Dance Off." While she is great at her craft and works to be the best dancer, she is often pressured by her mother to do even better.
Max Alvarez
Max is the cool and collected classmate who is intrigued by Lena. Oftentimes, his out-of-the-box ideas clash against her old world techniques and sensibilities, but that makes him even more interested in her. Prior to the Paris Opera Ballet School, he had no formal training in ballet and was in boarding school after his parents mysteriously died...
Henri Duquet
Henri is Lena's boyfriend from 1905 who gave her the magical necklace that sent her to the present. Impulsive by nature, he doesn't always think things through and sometimes ends up making situations worse, despite having the best intentions. He's brave and will do whatever it takes to bring Lena home.
Dash Khan
Dash is one of the most hard working students at the Paris Opera Ballet School. A technical expert, he spends hours practicing when no one is paying attention--including his teachers. He is often sidelined during performances, and he wishes for the chance to take centerstage.
Jeff Chase
Jeff is the class clown of the group, but takes dance as seriously as his classmates. He was chosen by the Paris Opera Ballet School's scouts from the Grand Prix. What he lacks in dance technique, he makes up with his natural talent and confidence.
